Mother of Dragons
The Mother of Dragons may be anywhere inside the Rift (in some cases they can be just outside - placement coordinate rounding) or not in the Rift at all. If you are in a particularly large Rift it is worth moving around to get a clear view of the Rift extremities.
Once you have located the Mother of Dragons, sat on top of her Roost, get yourself over there!
As foreboding as she looks, the Mother of Dragons is there to help you.
Once in range, tap the Mother of Dragons…..
You will be presented with a choice of three incubators to use, which one you use is up to you - it makes no difference.
So why are there three incubators if you can only use one? Well, you can use more if you a) buy and wear eight Artifacts from the Shop, or b) buy the Dragon’s Heart Artifact from the Shop. Each of these options will allow you to place one more Ancient Egg with the Mother of Dragons. Combine them and you can incubate three Ancient Eggs concurrently.
Select the Ancient Egg you wish to incubate….
The Mother of Dragons Cocoon will show the incubation process.
That is all you have to do - the Mother of Dragons will do the rest, as long as the Portal (and thus the Rift) do not vanish. Once the time required for incubation has elapsed, the Egg will hatch, you do not need to remain in the Rift.
If the Portal and Rift vanish before the Egg finishes incubation, the Egg will be returned to you showing how long it has been incubated for. You can then place the Egg with another Mother of Dragons in another Rift to continue the process.
Note, unless you have the Artifacts mentioned above, you can only have one Ancient Egg incubating at a time - no matter how many Rifts you enter or Mother of Dragons you encounter.
